Essential author information
The name of the organisation (institution), its address, electronic address and author's ORCID are separated by commas.
Information about place of employment (study), electronic addresses and authors' ORCIDs appear after the authors' names on separate lines. They are linked to names through superscript numerical designations.
It is possible to specify the electronic address of only one author with whom correspondence is planned, or to specify an author for correspondence, in the following format: Corresponding Author: e-mail address
Abstract is an independent, structured material. It first briefly reflects on the research relevance, aims and objectives. It then describes the methods used and presents the research findings with mandatory arguments based on numerical data. The abstract also provides a discussion, and draws conclusions. The recommended abstract length is between 200 and 250 words. It should not contain any abbreviations or complex formatting elements, such as superscripts or subscripts. Article citation format (introduced as For citation:). Author’s surname and initials. Article title. AgroEcoEngineering. Year; issue: pages. (In Russ. / Eng.) DOI/URL
Main text. The article should be well structured and have the following main sections:
The main text is followed by a list of literature sources cited in the article (introduced as REFERENCES)
The Journal follows the Vancouver citation style. This style requires the in-text citations in square brackets at the end of a sentence, before the period. The complete bibliographic descriptions in the References section are ordered by their appearance in the text.
The list of references comprises only peer-reviewed sources (journal articles and monographs) cited in the article text. It must contain at least 10 sources. Thesis abstracts, dissertations, textbooks, teaching aids, state standards, website information, statistical reports, and articles from socio-political newspapers, websites and blogs are not included. Where such information requires citation, it should appear in a footnote at the relevant page bottom, formatted according to the State Standard GOST 7.0.5-2008.
Over 50 per cent of listed sources must have been published within the last 5 years in high-ranking Russian and international journals. References to earlier works are acceptable only where necessary.
Unfair and incorrect citation that is not justified by the content of the cited article should be avoided. A self-citation rate is no more than 25%.
Bibliographical entries for the list of references are compiled according to the State Standard GOST R 7.0.5–2008.
All references must be in a consistent format with only a period (not a dash) between the description parts. All members of the authors’ team of the referenced article should be listed. The cited journal’s title should also be given in full. Where available, the cited article's DOI or URL must be provided.
Author contributions. Following each author's surname and initials, their role in the article preparation is briefly indicated (for example, conceptualisation, methodology, software, data verification, formal analysis, research conduct, resources, data administration, draft manuscript creation, final version preparation (revision) and manuscript editing, visualisation, research supervision, project administration, funding acquisition).
Authors' declaration regarding absence or presence of conflict of interest, with conflict details where applicable.
Consent of all authors, having reviewed the final article version, to manuscript publication in the Journal.
Information regarding manuscript submission date to the Editorial Office, post-review approval date, and article acceptance date for publication.
On a separate page, authors provide personal information to be published in the Journal. This includes full name, academic degree (if applicable) and academic title (if applicable), current position, full name of the structural subdivision and organization, its location, and contact information for communicating about the article's preparation for publication (phone number, e-mail address).

The Editorial Office welcomes the electronic versions of manuscripts in Microsoft Word format with .doc or .docx extensions. Submission of manuscripts in non-editable format (PDF) is not allowed.
Before submitting an article for consideration, it is important to ensure that all the files contain thу required information in both Russian and English. All sources of information used in figures and tables should be cited. All in-text and after-text references should have a correct format.
The Editorial Office of the Journal communicates with the author or, in the case of a team of authors, the author who is responsible for correspondence. If the team of authors so desires, however, messages can be sent to all team members who have provided an email address.
All manuscripts of research articles and supporting documents received by the Journal undergo preliminary assessment for compliance with formal requirements.
If any inconsistencies are found, the correction guidance is forwarded to the author or a corresponding author.
Where identified inconsistencies have not been resolved, the submission will not be considered for publication. The Editorial Office will notify the author or a corresponding author accordingly, stating the reasons for rejection.
Should the manuscript satisfy requirements, the corresponding author receives notification of manuscript acceptance for consideration.
Following preliminary assessment, the article is forwarded to peer reviewing. Articles received by the Editorial Office undergo double-blind peer review. With a positive conclusion from reviewers, the article proceeds to preparation for printing.
The corresponding author of the article accepted for publication receives the final layout version for mandatory checking. The author response is expected within 2 days. If there is no response from the corresponding author, the article layout is deemed approved.
When the reviewers’ desicion is to revise the manuscript, their comments and remarks are sent to the author. The author must make all necessary corrections to the final version of the manuscript and return it to the Editorial Office within seven calendar days after receiving the email notification. It should be accompanied with a cover letter with answers to the reviewers’ questions or justified objections. Author-revised manuscripts undergo re-review.
The manuscripts, whose authors have not addressed the constructive reviewer comments or failed to present justified objections, are declined for publication. The Editorial Office will forward a reasoned rejection or a review copy to the author.
A negative review makes up grounds for publication refusal, and a corresponding decision is sent to the author.
Should the author contest the conclusion and/or individual comments of reviewers, he has two options. He may petition for re-review and later amend the manuscript according to justified reviewer and editor comments and articulate his position. Or else he may withdraw the manuscript, providing a written notification to the Editorial Office and receiving the confirmation of the manuscript withdrawal from consideration.
